Tasting Notes...
Jaros is a blended estate wine. The main variety is Tempranillo (locally known as Tinto Fino) with some small percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which varies by vintage, but never more than 15%. Spectacular fruit, with phenolic hints, accompanied by fine minerality and smoothness from cask ageing.
It is an intense cherry colour with purple edges. The nose has marked notes of ripe red and black fruit with fragrant notes of flowers, spices and liquorice and subtle mineral and balsamic touches are released on an elegant toasted background. On the palate, there is good attack; light, smooth, tasty and slightly sweet mid-palate. Very elegant, well balanced wine dominated by the notes of plum fruit. Good acidity and pleasant tannins lead to a long and persistent finish. A well balanced, elegant and easy-drinking quality wine
