Tasting Notes...
Bouchard Pere et Fils has been exclusively producing the Beaune du Chateau Cuve since 1907. It is a blend of seventeen Beaune Premier Cru vineyards, vinified separately, and wine perfectly exhibits the different facets of the Beaune terroir. Following hand picking and ruthless sorting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in small vats to optimal vinification. After fermentation, the wine is matured for 10 to 18 months in French oak barrels, (60 to 85% of which are new). Bouchard Pere et Fils Beaune du Chateau Premier Cru Rouge has a fine, perfumed nose. This harmonious, well structured wine shows the typical soft, velvetness on the palate of Beaune's Premiers Crus. Excellent ageing potential
