Tasting Notes...

When making Torres Gran Viña Sol, part of the Chardonnay is barrel-fermented and aged for five months in Limousin oak barriques, the remainder being cool fermented in stainless steel. This results in a rich, buttery wine. The final blend also incorporates a small proportion of Parellada which gives extra lift to the bouquet and elegance on the palate

A breakthrough wine using mainly Chardonnay (rather than the traditional Parellada grape which is used in the supermarket wine Viña Sol and is 100% Parellada).
