Bodegas Navajas is a family bodega based in Navarrete, in the centre of the D.O. Ca Rioja. The winery is located in the town of Navarrete. The grapes come from some 350 growers in and around the village, renowned not only for their old vines but also for the highest natural acidity levels in the Rioja Alta. Navajas Reserva is matured in high toast US barrels, all produced by the Murúa company in nearby Logrono. This is a very good example of a reserva from one of Riojas finest and most consistent bodegas.
